This happy family of Texans visits Whitefish every summer. The Childrens’ Grandparents, Aunt, and Uncle joined in on their annual photo session tradition this year and it was a total delight. I absolutely adore photos taken with elders and encourage adult children to include them in their family photos at some point.
The kids were so fun and full of life and I think that energy shines through in this collection of images. Don’t let these sweet stationary faces fool you though. The youngest kiddo was a slippery little fish, but we managed to wrangle him just long enough to capture that mischievous sparkle in his eye.
In the 15 years I have been doing this, it has become clear that I have come to specialize in capturing these free spirited kids and I think they must know it. I am pretty sure as soon as I arrive they are like, “hold my juice box.”, to their siblings.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
