Sneak This | Laguna Beach, CA Photographer

Holy fun sauce captain! This gaggle of family was a blast. I really got to put my fisheye to work and I am in love. I wasn’t sure how it would work with portraits but I think it just busts out a whole new level of fun and these guys were the perfect guinea pigs. It will be in my bag from now on.

I can’t even think of anything to say about the one below. It’s just rad. l o v e!

Heather - This session is an all time fave for me. I am so glad we reconnected on Facebook and thanks for coming with an open mind putting up with my camera 6 inches away from your face. I think you guys are going to love your gallery.

Long Beach, CA Family Session | Sneak Peek

I traveled to Long Beach for a session with these two little dollies. The little one came with a warning. “Courntey does not like to sit still.” I guess if you are a photographer (or a mom) you know that this rings true for 99% of little movers this age so this came as no surprise. Another obstacle….. they come from a family of photographers. No pressure. I met Staci and Eric when she was pregnant with Kate who is now 3.5 years old and cuter than ever. I haven’t seen them in almost two years so I was delighted when she called to book a session.

On a tasty side note: Eric is part owner of The Aulde Dubliner. If you have never been to The Dub they have amazing food, drink and live music. Stop in, you are sure to have a great time. Southern Californians…you have no excuse.

I don’t know if I am shooting myself in the foot by not posting family photos here but the reasoning in my head is that I want my clients to be able to show these sneakers to friends and not blow the surprise of their Christmas card. I guess you just have to trust me.

Needless to say I had a blast! Here’s a teeny tiny sneak peek. I know you two told me a good family photo is impossible these days. I think I may have a surprise (or two) for you. Stay tuned for your gallery!

Staci is such a rad mom. She literally tripped and fell over this log and turned it into a fun little moment with her girls who thought it was pretty funny too.

One Space Left In August!!

I have one session space left in August!

Sunday August 17th
or
Monday August 18th.

I schedule a limited amount of sessions per month to maintain quality and sanity. Once I am booked I am booked. I can not stress enough if you are expecting book as soon as you know that you want my services. I work around your due date and newborn photo session dates are never set in stone as you can imagine and should take place in the first 10 days after birth.

[As much as I despise discussing the holidays in August]
This is something you should begin planning for now. Not only because you still have your golden tan of summer but also because I book a limited number of sessions per month. Unfortunately there is no guarantee that your desired date will be available calling a week or even three weeks in advance.

All holiday sessions must take place before November 15 and all Christmas card orders must be completed by December 1st. If you know that you would like photos taken in September, October, or November book your session now.

A brief email about what makes your family NOT BORING. Be creative and have fun or hit me in my soft gooey center. I’ll leave that up to you.
A recent photo of your family in .jpg format - taken by you or a family member within the last month. Any snapshot will do. I just like to put faces with your story.
Full Name, valid email address, phone number, city where you reside, and ages of children.

Please note: Entries are not limited to families. If you prefer your session to be just the kids or you are recently engaged please feel free to participate!
