session information:
booking • session fees are due at the time of booking to reserve your date, are non refundable, booked on a first come first serve basis and do not include prints or products. travel fees may apply to areas 30 miles outside of Fallbrook, CA 92028.
fees • sessions, excluding maternity, are based on pricing for up to 4 people. each additional person is 25. dogs are created equal. maternity sessions including children will fall under family session pricing.
time frame • sessions last anywhere from 1.5 – 2.5 hours and can take place anywhere where there is filtered light. i will shoot as long as everyone is engaged and/or until we run out of light. newborn sessions take place in the morning and can take a bit longer due to settling, feeding and is dependent on the temperament
of your baby.
how i roll • i shoot all of my images in digital color using the finest light source available on earth – the sun. the great outdoors is my studio and can shoot just about anywhere you like. no flashing lights, 1980’s back drops, goofy props or stiff unnatural poses round these parts.
gallery • you can expect a minimum of 30 unique images in a password-protected gallery approximately 2 weeks after your session.

How long have you been in Business?
I have been photographing newborns and families since 2007. This has been my full time profession since of July 2008.
What happens if my child breaks your equipment?
Glad you asked! All of our equipment is FULLY insured just in case your little one happens to somehow break or damage equipment.
Do you offer print collections?
In conjunction with my keep it real attitude…. I work on an ala-carte system that allows you to pick and choose freely rather than be locked into a certain number of a certain size. So, basically whatever you choose is your print collection and can be whatever you wish. Don’t be afraid to go big. 20×30 is a beautiful size.
Do you have a print order minimum?
Only in conjunction with special offers.
Do you offer Digital files?
Yes. Digital collections begin at $895 and come with 5×7 proofs of each image.
When do I book my session?
You should book your session as soon as you decide that you would like my services. Your session fee is due in full at the time of booking, is non-refundable and is required to hold your date. I generally book 2-3 months in advance but if you would like to get in immediately call me and I may be able to fit you in. I work strictly on a first come first serve basis and take a limited amount of sessions per month to insure quality.
When is the best time for a maternity session?
About 30-32 weeks when you have a nice sized belly and are still comfortable and able to move about somewhat freely. Currently maternity sessions are only booked in conjunction with a newborn session.
When is the best time for a newborn session?
Within the first 5-10 days of life. Your baby is still in the recovery stage, less prone to be startled when being moved, and most likely has not developed baby acne at that point.
They can be done after this time frame but the chances of curly sleepy tiny baby poses are unpredictable after 10 days. Lifestyle sessions allow for a little more flexibility. If your baby is over 10 days old let’s talk.
When do I get to see my photos?
If my schedule allows I post a few on my blog a few days after your session. Your gallery will go live approximately 2-3 weeks from the date of our session.
How do I order prints?
For your convenience you can easily order your prints via our online ordering system. I am always happy to consult via phone at your convenience. Just call to schedule an appointment.
How will I get my prints?
I ship them straight to your home or office.
Can I see ALL of the photos that you took at my session?
I feel that part of what you are paying for is my artistic discretion. I go through all of your session files numerous times and pull the best photos based on my artistic standard. They are edited individually to bring out the best of each shot. Showing too many files is overwhelming for anyone and I reserve the right to show what I feel reflects everyone, including myself as an artist, in their best light. Majority of the images not shown are not as strong emotionally, in composition, lighting, exposure, blinking or repetition…you get the idea.
Do you have a baby plan with sessions at newborn, 6months, 1 year?
Not at this time but I sure do love seeing them grow with repeat visits.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Not at this time. It’s a little to turn and burn for me. I find that 45 minutes is not enough time to get what I want out of the little ones and parents always want more to choose from.
What if I don’t like my photos?
I am my own worst critic and if you find yourself in a position where you just aren’t happy with what I have produced chances are I am not either. I always appreciate open communication and want my clients to be nothing short of thrilled. If I feel the images are not up to par with what is shown in my galleries I will happily re-shoot at my discretion. Re shoots will not be given based off regretful clothing, hair, makeup choices or late arrival.
Do you have a studio?
I work exclusively on location with natural light.
Do you photograph family events?
Yes. I am brave enough to tackle this. I enjoy it actually and find it a nice challenge. Please inquire for more details.
Do you photograph weddings?
YES! Coverage with a color corrected disk begins at $2600.
Do you travel to different states for sessions?
Yes. I love to travel! Please note that travel fare and lodging is added to the cost of your session. If you live in another state and can get a few families to book together over the course of a few days that extra fee can be spread out amongst you.
