I wish I could stay and chat and post more photos but I have deadlines looming. I hope you are all having a great week.

Who doesn’t love a fist look? Always recommended but never pushed. It is such a sweet intimate moment before you stand in front of everyone you know. It also give us time to get some portraits taken care of before the ceremony and the bride and groom back to the party following the ceremony sooner than later.

We loved everything about this wedding that took place at Levyland Estates in Carlsbad, CA. Catered and coordinated by the fabulous Eco Caters.

hooked on a feeling.

I have seen a ton of photo sessions take place at train stations, why no one ever actually gets on the train is beyond me. We has so much fun on this little date goofing around getting to know each other. I am super excited to shoot this adorably spunky soon to be bride with her dashing man when they tie the knot in February.

I remember the day this little beauty was born. I worked with her dad for about a year circa 2005. He taught me most of what I know about sales and marketing. Horray for life experience. I had just scored a “real” camera, a used Nikon D70, and if I remember correctly I wanted to photo the birth. Right out of the gate I wanted to go big. Straight to the delivery room…with a D70. Classic. Looking back at my skill set at the time it would have been a disaster I am sure.

Six years later they are among my many beloved repeat clients. I can not tell you how amazing it is to see these kids grow up and watch their personalities evolve. The longer I photograph families the more precious the photos become.

The holiday season is in full swing and it’s keeping me pretty busy. Going through this family’s gallery and just loved this one so i thought I would share. I love when kids do their own thing and parents allow them to be themselves. Such a cute little bunch.

Yes that’s right. Mini sessions. Fall Photo Season is in full swing! My weekends are pretty well spoken for at this point but I may have a spot or two so do not delay. Once they are gone they are gone.

Through the month of October I have opened up some availability during the week to accommodate the locals…or whoever is willing to trek to Fallbrook from Temecula, Murrieta, Orange County, Anaheim Hills (represent), San Diego or from anywhere else in southern california…… and offer a smashing deal for fall 2012 family portraits. I am not even going to tell you what kind of savings you are getting here. It’s a lot. Especially if you go for the 10 image get up.

Come as you are. Go with the flow and 45 minutes will be plenty of time to relax into that family portrait that is perfectly…or imperfectly you for your 2012 holiday card and gift giving.
