I love working with the teenagers. They are exactly who they are and everything is given to you at face value. I love that they are invincible, their friends are the most important people in their lives and they wear their emotions on their sleeve. They live and breathe to have fun. I can’t help but be excited for them.

I rocked myself a red pair of VANS in 1993. I was stoked that we had something in common and then felt old. Then, remembered how awkward I really was and BAM I was thankful for my age and my experiences.

This gorgeous girlie is Murrieta class of 2013…but hey senior class of 2012! Let’s shoot.

I am literally about to walk out the door to spend a couple of days in Frisco. I will post a proper blog post for these two beautiful girls I had the pleasure of spending some time with. I so wish I had photos like this with my best friends when we were this age. You girls are adorable. Still dying over this bridge.

2010 Senior – Jessica | Orange County Senior Portraits

High school is such a fun time. (It was for me anyway) Especially senior year. A tad more freedom. A little closer to college. A tiny bit closer to being a grown up. Hug it tight seniors it goes by in the blink of an eye.

Jessica traveled out here from Kansas City, MO to hang out with me, her family, and the beach of course. We may have had too much fun and seemed to make due at a very crowded hot spot at the Montage in Laguna. She’s a cute, sassy, dancin fool and I have a bunch of great shots of her. Here is just a few.

My oldest brother is in town from Florida and Manuel, his middle boy, wanted to take some senior photos. He is one of three adopted boys and has been around since he was about 12. He is now 18 and rocks our last name on his arm. He wears it proudly which I think is pretty cool. I drug him out to this field behind my parent’s house and tortured him mildly for about 20 minutes. The dogs ran and we played. I would have loved to take him to a more urban setting but this was all that time allotted in between my dad’s bbq’d steaks and the ice cream cake log my sister brought for my birthday. I will be taking the whole family out this weekend.

I know for the schools in the area your yearbook photos are required to be taken at a studio chosen by the school. The photos that you actually want to hang on your wall and your heart do not.
