When I think of Teresa I am inclined to say that I went to high school with her but that is not the case. When we were really young, 9 maybe, we were on a soccer team called the Nutcracker Sweets. mmmm.hmmmm. On this particular team since we were sweets we were prompted by the adults to pick jelly belly flavors for the back of our shirts. What a great idea! Really? Do I have to? Yes, I did. I got talked into and settled on cinnamon. Appropriately so I suppose. I am not sure how Teresa managed to end up with “Speedy” on her back. Bonus for being fast or just craftier than I? I must not have been bold nor brash enough to put my foot down on having a jelly belly flavor on my back. If I had known the stuff under the letters was going to be irritating as all hell I would have at least opted for something shorter….like….Amy. That is about all I remember of that… Soccer seasons, pancake breakfasts, team parties and trophy ceremonies came and went and once again we were on the same team with the same coach at the Nutcrackers. Still pink and black and at the age of 15-17 we graduated to No Sympathy. Cooler name…minus the silly names on our game shirts. Our coach ran us so hard that we would literally run circles around the others and score in the first few minutes of play. We made it to the California State Championship finals together. We lost….in a shoot out… and I am pretty sure we sulked over our Lampost Pizza water jugs and rice crispy treat after game snack together. In high school we may or may not have caused a ruckus or two. I don’t remember….only because it was a long time ago.
They are a fantastic diverse family. I had so much fun. Here are just a few of the images from the day. Thanks for having me!
Friends and family stop in and say hello. As usual with 30+ comments I start to throw in extra goodies.

The two responsible for all of this fun.
