I am totally the girl that screeches to change the channel if any thing related to animal abuse comes on. I seriously can’t take it. You know those gut wrenching commercials by Sarah McLaughlin? Ya, you know the ones. For me, dogs just hit me at my core. Probably because I have one that I am not sure I will know what to do with out once he is gone. I hate to even think about it. If you have ever met Shryner you know what I mean.
These dogs in particular, 20 of them, were saved from a Hesperia KILL shelter nearing their last day. Paige hand picked each one and I can tell you they are all such sweet hearts. The love that they have for her just shines in their eyes and even after just a few days didn’t want to leave her side. She, and The Pet Rescue Center saved their lives. Period.
Not only does The Pet Rescue Center save our future furry friends they also have a state of the art veterinary facility that blows away anything I have ever seen and Dr. Wheaton and the rest of the staff visibly care for your pets.

The pup above was the most attentive of the bunch and loved having his/her photo taken. I am not normally a fan of the pit bull but my goodness my heart was stolen.

above: This sweet girl lost a whole litter of pups. Such a lover.

above: Really? Could you be any cuter!

Melty puppy love for Paige.

above: This girly got dropped off at 4 years old. She is mellow, sweet and probably just wants a place to stretch out and relax for the rest of her golden years.

above: Obviously sweet sweet sweet. She adored Paige and the stretch into the scratches behind the ears is probably my favorite shot of the day.

above: Puppies and more puppies. 7 of them all together. Look at those markings. swoon.

I am not a cat girl but seriously even I wanted to take the above kitty home. She was playful and so cool!

above: Kittens! Teeny tiny kittens!

The above lounge lizards have been around for a while. Someone take them home already! Garfield lovers we need you! ….keep an eye on your lasagna. The black kitty…LOVE those whiskers!

You can see it in their eyes! All good catches right there. Ready for their homes!
