[...] I often get questions on what to wear from my clients prior to their sessions. I always tell them to try to pick a few complimenting colours and dressing within them, try to stay away from being too matchy, (I don’t think that is an actually word, but to me it is). Texture and pattern in clothes and accessories are great too, as long as it isn’t over done. I feel it is important to capture a true sense of a family’s personality and white shirts and jeans don’t really seem to do that. Today I came across a great post by a fantastic photographer Angie Warren, she talks about the very same thing I try to relay to my clients. <3 the colours. I am wearing a lot of black tops to hide the belly right now but this makes me want colour!
