Ahhhh…This little family and I go pretty far back to the good ole days of working at The Catch in Anaheim circa 2004 while I was at the University…Pretty much The BEST restaurant in Orange County along with TAPS Fish House & Brewery their sister restaurant. I think Stephanie and Jacob are one of three couples that met each other while working together during my two year stint and eventually got hitched. Pretty fancy. We were family and we had great times. Until Jacob fired my hiney. What can I say? I speak my mind. It’s all good. At least it wasn’t for hijacking the giant green olives at the bar. “It’s not a boofay” he would say….everyday. He actually did me a huge favor. Thanks Jacob! I have not worked in a restaurant since and I doubt that any other would live up to it anyway. So the fact that he fired me and then hired me 4 years later to take his family photo is awesome!
What a sweet little girlie she was. Not a single fuss out of her. We were also accompanied by grandma and great grandma but these are the first few photos I have gotten around to editing. Hodge podgey are they are It was SO good to see you guys and I hope you like them.
The Catch is reopening in January 2010 and if you are hitting up an Angel Game, going to see the Ducks play, or any sort of event at The Pond….er The Honda Center (whatever!) go eat there. No joke. I mean really…they canned my arse and I still endorse them.
