Well fancy that! I did not expect to win this at all. With just a few days left I was in 3rd Place against some pretty established photographers in the IE. Stiff competition I tell ya. High fives to the others in the Top 5! I feel all dorky and giddy inside. Kind of like when you are the first girl picked for kickball in elementary school…or something like that.
Now I can be like all of the other cool kids in the industry and call myself an “Award Winning Photographer” My next goal… A full page Nikon ad. What? A girl can dream.
I’d like to thank my mom…..Hi Mom! In all seriousness. Thank you all so much for your support and Leeanna for nominating my behind. It’s a nice place to be 1 year into this adventure.
