Even though I don’t have children yet my ears are still subject to some of the painful screechy sounds that come out of the television as well as the car of people with young kids. Now don’t get me wrong…anything to keep them happy…I totally agree but is there a happy medium that would curtail the desire to pull your hair out and then proceed to drive your car into the center median of the freeway? Or in my case open the door and dive roll from the front seat onto the grassy patch on the side of the road? OK. I am being dramatic. Back to the point. In one of my forums a friend mentioned that they had gone to a Justin Roberts concert and it rocked. So I checked out his site. Really cute and with a tune that won’t completely drive you batty. Fun. Happy. Upbeat but still kind of mellow. Check it out and then head on over to his site if you have kiddos and maybe pick something up for the car.
I took Shryner to the vet today which is a whole other story and the tech was telling me that Sesame Street is changing Cookie Monster to Veggie Monster? Can that be true and is it Cookie Monster’s fault your kid is obese? They could add a veggie monster. C is for Cookie darn it. WWJD??? [What would Jim do?] I did a Google search(because it’s a big deal) and found an article from 2005. I loved Sesame Street growing up and am still a huge Jim Henson Fan.
