I just got back from WPPI, the largest photography trade show of the year in Las Vegas. Not only did I learn some good stuff I got to meet some super fantastic new friends and people that I have known for some time from some of the online photography forums that I participate in. Nikon sponsored a super fun free concert event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. I grew up listening to Blues Traveler so that made it extra fun to get up close and snap a few shots or 50. I only had my 50mm 1.4 portrait lens so when I got a tap on the shoulder from a complete stranger pointing at his uber fantastic 70-200 2.8 mouthing “want to use this?” Ummmm….YES…please….THANK YOU! It made my night and now I want that lens. Thanks stranger for letting me borrow some focal length…..
