While I am not a huge blog stalker there are several blogs that I do enjoy keeping track of. I found this super cute necklace though Heather Armstrong’s blog – Dooce. Give her a read. She is a pregnant modern mom with two crazy dogs, photography skill and has an in your face no holds barred kind of wit and humor. I like that.

This whole blogging world seems to be a word of mouth whirlwind of amazing talented people I thought I would share and hope you will too. You just never know what you will find – a funny story, fantastic photography, or a cute little birdie necklace that you just can’t live without like this one by Figs & Ginger in Asheville, NC. You can’t beat something that was made with love and by hand here in the good ole U.S.A. Check it out I am sure you will see something you love!

And btw, I read dooce EVERY day. I asked for her double bird necklace for Christmas, but my mom got me a different one instead. Anyway, I’m obsessed with Heather. I’ve been reading dooce for well over a year now. Why did we never discuss that before?!
