Party of Four

Such a cute family chalk full of personality. Dad is a co-worker of mine and it was such a pleasure getting to spend time with his troop. I look forward to seeing them again.

I took the plunge

shryner I just upgraded my camera from a Nikon D70 to the D200 only to have the specs for the latest and greatest release from Nikon to come out 4 days later. The release has 90% of the Canon users I know wanting to trade in thier precious Canon 5Ds for a Nikon D3. The funny part is just before I upgraded they were coaxing me to come to the bright side. Seems as though I am on the bright side.

***This is Shryner the Weimaraner. He was gracious enough to hold still for a couple first shots from the new camera.

we all fall down

we all fall down

Sweet KK and her broken arm. We hung out in har mama’s studio and she ran the show. We had a good laugh. She is one one of the happiest kids around.

a twirl of heaven

See what I mean, I am bad. July 9th was my last post. I will try harder.

Ah, my 60mm macro lens has been good to me. This shot is one of a series called wheat patch. It consists of photos of just that. Taken on different days in the same area of about 3 feet. It is on the other side of an iron fence that seperates our back yard from the neighbors. See, we have these slopes that are not technically our backyard but must be maintained. Well, the neighbor does not maintain. I don’t mind it much because I would miss things like this shot if it were gone.
